Association for the Advancement of Meridian Therapies

Meridian Therapies are the property of the world and should be freely available to all the people of the world. It is accepted that some particular therapies have been developed by individuals, often at great expense and personal effort, and the originators deserve adequate re-imbursement for their efforts. It is also understood that when therapists have spent time and effort (not to mention fees) in learning their therapy, they can expect to charge a fair fee for their services--workers are always worthy of their hire. While accepting these points there are many things that can be given freely to all. Gary Craig, the originator of Emotional Freedom Technique is a shining example of the concept of freely giving his idea for the good of the world, and in this Association we will try to follow his lead in making available information, data and materials for the use of all. To this end all the material on their site are provided free of copyright or any other restriction for the use of all in the hope that they will be of use to further the cause of Peace and health across the world.

Who Are we?

The Association for the Advancement of Meridian Therapies (AAMT) is a non-profit making organisation. It is certainly non-profit making as it has no income to all to profit from! It is open to all. The only requirement being some knowledge of Meridian Therapies and a willingness to help spread the knowledge of these wonderful therapies across the world. There is no membership or joining fee and no personal details (other than an e-mail address) are needed.

What We Provide

As the Association has no income to spend on facilities the service we provide is simple, but we hope useful. Included in the things we make available are :-

¦ A free e-mail group for the discussion of all matters relating to Meridian Therapies. This is open to all, beginner or advanced therapist and is intended for the free exchange of ideas on the subject. On the list beginners are welcome and more experienced practitioners are enouraged to help newcomers by answering qestions and giving advice. To join the group (You do not have to be a member of the Association to join) simply go to the Yahoo Groups website and register free to join the group. Alternatively send an e-mail to AAMT asking to join.

¦ This web site, which is freely available to all, and which contains a growing amount of materal for free download. This material includes brochures and similar Meridian Therapy based materal all of which is free from copyright and which anyone (not only Association Members) can use either as it is or as a basis for buiding their own marerial. If you haveany problems with the downlaoding or modiication of this material just ask for help on the eGroup.

¦ Educational material is provided in the form of syllabuses for courses varying from simple two hour introduction courses to full practitioner and master practitioner training courses. Educational material such as text and OHP slides are available in electronic form also free of charge and copyright free.

¦ The Association does not sell books, but it reviews books related to Meridian Therapies and provides a listing of books considered to be of good value and seasonably priced, together with links to autors and stockists.

¦ The Association provides listings of Qualified Practitioners for inspection by the general public
